Daily Schedule

6:30-7:30 Drop-off Time/Quiet Transition Activities (manipulative, table toys, puzzles, coloring, etc.)
7:30_7:45 GroupToileting/Transition to Breakfast 
7:45 - 8:45

Breakfast/Center Exploration-All meals and snacks meet or exceed state nutritional guidelines. To encourage independence meals are served "Family Style" so that children may learn to serve themselves. Pitchers are also used for them to pour their own drinks. Assistance provided as needed.

8:45 - 9:00 Clean-up Time/Transition to Group Circle Time
9:00 - 9:45

Circle Time Lessons- Calendar, weather, stories, discussion of weekly theme, songs and stories related to theme, introduction to Sign Language/Spanish, name recognition games, letters, numbers, colors

9:45- 10:00  Group Toileting
10:00-10:15  Snack
10:15-11:00

Teacher Directed Activity Lessons- projects that correspond to the different activity centers (arts & crafts, block area, science area, etc.) will be set up for the children to explore and perform throughout the week.

11:00-11:45 Outdoors(weather permitting)/Gross Motor Activities
11:45-12:00

Group Story/Song Time- In addition to being exposed to an assortment of children’s literature, story tapes, felt boards, puppets, and instruments will also be used.

12:00-12:10 Group Toileting
12:10-12:45  Lunch Time
12:45-1:00   Quiet Book Time/Story Tape (to prepare for rest)
1:00-3:00 Rest Time- children who do not rest, or wake early, will be provided quiet activities during this time.
3:00-3:15 Wake-up Time/Group Toileting
3:15-3:30 Snack/Story Time
3:30-4:30 Center Exploration
4:30-5:30 Outdoors (weather permitting)/ Prepare for Departure
